Your Impact

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart Port Road Cheltenham, you will be a team player, who is flexible and willing to support our centres and children when and where required. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Port Road Cheltenham

Goodstart Early Learning Cheltenham Port Road is situated in Adelaide’s west, near the northern beaches of Adelaide. Caters for 112 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Port Road Cheltenham opened in mid 2018, the constructed early learning centre features six large and spacious learning spaces. Goodstart Cheltenham is designed as a modern yet home-like, naturally inspired environment. All age-based learning spaces have lovely natural light and direct access to the vast, nature-based outdoor spaces. Their beautiful outdoor dining hub connects the learning spaces to the playground and provides a shaded, outdoor dining space for all children and educators. Their onsite kitchen with child-height servery allows the centre cook to serve and interact with the children and engage in cooking and preparing meals.

The centre is committed to creating a warm and welcoming community focused centre. They look forward to building and maintaining meaningful and true relationships with all our families and children.

You’ll help achieve this by

Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team

Engaging and supervising the children at all times

Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members

Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families

Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures

Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
