**The Role**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the Digital Experience team to deliver the Memorial’s Digital Engagement Strategy and key projects within digital platforms for customers in support of the organisation’s corporate priorities.
- Manage and maintain the Memorial’s websites, including content, usability and user experience, as well as the supporting IT systems and infrastructure.
- Lead content development and usability for websites in creation of a seamless and engaging user experience
- Lead strategic delivery of the customer relationship management (CRM) platform, and other digital platforms including bookings, ticketing and rostering
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal (and external) stakeholders to deliver flexible and collaborative positive user-centred digital engagement outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies and initiatives and manage projects that will shape the direction of offsite digital engagement.
- Provide advice on emerging digital technologies and adoption of new systems and platforms by the Memorial through Assistant Director Public Programs and informed by Chief Information Officer.
- Provide strong leadership of the Digital Experience section, including business system and process improvements through developing staff capabilities to deliver against the Business Plan objectives.

**Position Eligibility**
- Under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
- All applicants external to AWM that are offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a National Police Check, even if they currently hold a security clearance. The check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.
