We are currently looking for a Facilities and Asset Manager to join our team at our large Distribution Centre in Melbourne - MFDC. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring all Woolworths assets are maintained in a safe and cost effective manner in line with legal, regulatory and lease requirements. The successful applicant will also provide effective contractor management, services and sustainability in line with company policies and the needs of the operation.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure the provision of effective maintenance support to the DC that is responsive to scheduled and unscheduled service and repair needs
- Manage maintenance and repair costs in line with budget and forecast
- Ensure that site preventative maintenance schedule is maintained and executed in line with regulatory, manufacturer, lease requirements and standards
- Compile and maintain service records for building, plant and services
- Identify the planned maintenance requirements for site based on forecasted inbound and outbound volumes and adjust to ensure continued service level is maintained
- Lead the procurement of site-specific non-residential services and contracts in accordance with WOW and Primary Connect procurement guidelines.

**About You:
- Cert IV in Trade or Engineering or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5 plus years experience in the facilities and/or property industry, industrial preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of relevant OH&S and RTW legislation
- Understanding of DC cost drivers and the ability to influence stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Contractor management experience
- Experience in or understanding of Supply Chain Systems and Operations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development
- Good planning and problem solving skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
