**The Opportunity**
As a workplace rehabilitation advisor, you are responsible for maximising the rehabilitation outcome for employees and creating a positive safety culture, which in turn to minimise the insurance premium impact Australia wide. You will be responsible for a portfolio of internal clients.

**Primary Objectives**
- Facilitate a return to work to pre-injury duties by working with the injured worker, their representatives, host client, relevant insurers, and others as appropriate to achieve positive RTW outcomes.
- Effectively manage statutory claims to maximise outcomes for both the injured worker and therefore the organisation.
- Assist in developing and implementing timely return to work arrangements and plans.
- Actively promote injury management and return to work processes and promote the health benefits of good return to work outcomes.
- Train and educate managers, supervisors and workers about injury management and return to work processes
- Work collaboratively with all business units and staff in the return-to-work process

**What you need**
- Previous experience in a similar or relevant role
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to lead, persuade, negotiate, consult with, and provide advice on workers compensation claims management and rehabilitation issues
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously where needed to achieve required outcomes within specified time limits
- Highly proficient in the use of technology; Microsoft suite of products, and online injury management software
