**Your new role**:
We are seeking a dedicated **Support Worker** to join our small but dedicated team. Diverse role providing support to women and families experiencing domestic violence. Highly rewarding role providing a safe and welcoming environment for clients who live at, or are accessing the service.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Welcome and orient new clients to the service
- Maintain a clean environment & conduct regular unit/room inspections
- Responsible for managing the flow of clients & visitors in the building in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain daily records& assist in all aspects of providing accommodation services for clients to an established quality standard
- Provide case work support in cooperation with case workers, and support clients in the implementation of case plans.
- Liaise with appropriate service staff to ensure client needs are attended to in an effective and efficient manner
- Transport of clients as required

**You will need**:

- Ability to work the following shift pattern:

- **Week 1**:Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8am - 3:30pm **Week 2**: Thursday, Friday 8am to 3:30pm, Saturday 10am - 4pm
- Appropriate Certificate or equivalent experience or currently undertaking tertiary study, in a related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use sound judgement and act appropriately in crisis and emergency situations.
- Current first aid certificate.
- Ability to maintain an ethical, yet non-judgmental, attitude towards residents and staff, and commitment to this.
- Unrestricted Current NSW drivers licence
- Ability to use client database and Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
