**About the role**

We’re looking for a PR executive that has a passion for media relations and is well-connected across the Australian media landscape.

This role will lead the management of Airtasker’s press office program in Australia, with a focus on driving coverage in top-tier publications. This includes hosting regular meet and greets to build relationships with key tier 1 journalists & other key press, commissioning data led PR angles, surfacing Tasker and Customer case studies and cross referencing for opportunities in social with our Social Media & Campaign manager (via organic & influencer content). This role will work closely with Airtasker’s Global Senior PR Manager and have a light touch into activity happening in the UK too.

Creativity is also key to identify any newsjacking opportunity that can interconnect with Airtasker as the solution. From queuing 8 hours for the passport renewal line, or earning more with Airtasker to deal with the cost pressures of inflation.
