**About the role**:
In this role, you will be responsible for the management and utilisation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data to ensure accurate spatial representation and analysis, thereby supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiencies across the city.

Role accountabilities include:

- Investigate spatial data anomalies and determine field data collection needs.
- Compile and standardise data holdings of Council assets across information systems, including GIS.
- Prepare maps and structured data outputs using various integration techniques.
- Maintain GIS and related documentation according to standards.

**Essential**- Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Information Technology or related field, or relevant experience with a demonstrated understanding of GIS principles, practices and data constructs.
