We are a fast-growing retail brand committed to delivering quality items at an affordable price. We’re expanding our footprint and looking for a strategic and hands-on Retail Growth Manager to lead the launch of new sites, build new teams, and ensure successful store openings and operations.

**The Role**
As Retail Growth Manager you will own the end-to-end process of new retail site growth and launch. You will identify new store locations, conduct viability assessments, manage the full set-up of new stores (from recruitment through to merchandising and IT/operations), and then ensure ongoing operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

- New Site Growth & Viability
- Identify and evaluate potential new retail sites (locations, foot‐traffic, demographics, competitor landscape, lease negotiations).
- Provide data-driven viability assessments (e.g., catchment analysis, sales projections, cost modelling).
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with hiring of new store managers and store teams.
- Design and implement onboarding and training programmes for new store staff.
- Store Set-Up & Launch
- Lead all delivery for new store launch: stock/inventory planning, allocation, merchandising, visual presentation.
- Manage procurement and installation of all physical and technical infrastructure (EFTPOS, telephones, internet/IT, stationery, fixtures, signage).
- Oversee POS (point of sale) system setup and integration.
- Operational Handover & Check-In
- Once store is launched, monitor operational performance and check-in with store leadership to ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Identify and address any early operational issues (retail KPIs, stock flow, staffing, customer experience).
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work liaise closely with Property/Real Estate, Finance, Operations, IT, Visual Merchandising, HR and Marketing teams.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare regular reports on new site performance, store launch metrics, and operational outcomes.
- Make recommendations based on launch outcomes for future store openings and process optimisation.

**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience (ideally 3-5+ years) in retail development, store openings, or multi-site operations.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and select retail sites using data/analytics.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple store launches simultaneously.
- Experience with inventory/stock planning, visual merchandising and store setup.
- Technical literacy: comfortable with POS systems, EFTPOS, IT setup, and integration.
- Strong collaborator and influencer; ability to liaise with senior stakeholders across disciplines.
- Able to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, with travel to new store sites as required.
- Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.
