
Principal Workplace Relations Advisor

**About the role
This role will be expected to represent MNH as an industrial advocate within a variety of forums including the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and the Queensland Human Rights Commission. The role will be responsible for developing detailed submissions and briefing and working closely with the Manager Workplace Relations to recommend to the Director Workplace Relations appropriate strategies for successful and timely resolution of complex industrial matters.
About you
Research/Investigate various formal complaints such as Public Service Appeals, Dispute Notifications, Human Rights complaints, Unfair Dismissals so to identify both risks and alternatives if required.
Complete written submissions to various industrial forums and in particular Public Service Appeals in the QIRC.
Complete written briefings for senior management on a variety of complex industrial issues.
Provide advocacy and resolution services on complex cases in various forums but especially conciliation conferences in the QIRC.
Research and provide complex advice on awards, industrial instruments, and entitlements.
Provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice and support to all client groups in the Health Service on complex workforce matters.
