We have a new opportunity for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician with a Industrial Electrician background to join our supportive and friendly team.

This Maintenance Technician role is supporting our customer site at Northmead, NSW. In this role you are required to work:
- Monday to Friday- 6.00 am - 2.00 pm (Day shift)- some overtime may be offered

The role is permanent full time and will give you a good exposure to a number of systems and technology.

You will be servicing clients' equipment in accordance with project and service agreements, whilst also identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work is also a vital component of the role.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What we are looking for:
- Australian recognised trade qualification with Certificate III - Electrotechnology Electrician- Must have an Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence- Must have a reasonable understanding of mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience in previous roles- Any PLC experience is highly regarded, we can provide training on Siemens S7 and SCADA systems

Attributes sought include:
- Experience with maintaining mechanical and pneumatic systems- Computerised maintenance systems experience (MEX) is ideal- Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems) is an advantage- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics highly regarded- Understanding of OH&S requirements and safe work behaviour- Ability to work in isolation and make decisions- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customers
