**The Position**
- Deliver the highest standard in professional conduct, personal presentation and company image
- Ensure safe work practices and adherence to policies and procedures including Absolutes and Lifesaving
- Rules as well as reporting of unsafe practices and potential and actual incident
- Lead the Hazardous Waste Identification and Collection Program by controlling chemical collections, packaging, dangerous goods segregation and completion of chemical inventories and assessments in accordance with established procedures
- Daily operations of waste treatment plant and daily reporting
- Maintain operational equipment within waste treatment plant
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

**Skills and Experience**
- Dangerous Goods Licence
- Drivers Licence (Class C)
- Tertiary qualification in Science or related discipline (desirable)
- Chemistry processes and laboratory equipment
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Analytical and problem-solving work
