**Sampling, Portfolio & Regulatory Specialist, Oceania**:

- As a Sampling, Portfolio & Regulatory Specialist, you will play an important role in our customer experience. With responsibility for daily sampling activities and providing customers with fast, efficient and quality unboxing experiences while also providing support to the portfolio hub and regulatory team. _
- You will participate in sensory evaluations, maintaining and organising the flavour portfolio library accordingly to support the portfolio hub and key customers for successful deliverables. Providing accurate regulatory documents and assisting the team and customers with their enquiries._
- You will report directly to Technical Director, Food & Beverage._
- Lastly, nothing is worth getting hurt for, all members of the business are expected to be safety leaders. You will always uphold and maintain a safe working environment especially handling dangerous goods. Wearing appropriate PPE and following related procedures to ensure safety of themselves and others.**The Position**: Sampling & Portfolio**
- Manage system for incoming sample requests and prioritize by the due date and urgency.
- Safely pack samples according to regulations especially meeting IATA dangerous goods regulations and arranging courier dispatch from collection point at reception.
- Collect incoming packages and mail from reception and distribute on a daily basis.
- Order & track raw materials and flavour samples from affiliates for lab, customer or supply chain teams.
- Accurately maintain dispatch information about samples and courier documentation including providing monthly reports and statistics.
- Ensure that the Flavour Library stock is always kept above agreed minimum levels and ordered from compounding team as required.
- General housekeeping of the sampling area, library compactus and packaging materials including ordering or consumables, labelling and putting away stock, discarding expires stock safely.
- Active participation in the self managed technical hubs and work alongside the team to empower, collaborate and cross train to share knowledge to other members of the business.
- Directly contributing to the business, team and category commercial success and win rate consistently.
- Work in close collaboration with cross functional departments to ensure timely, high quality delivery and seamless project execution
- Work within the portfolio hub managing and reviewing the Standard Library of Flavors for suitability to support the technical hubs and key customers across the business.
- Occasionally supporting portfolio and standard library selection for internal and external customer requests.

**Regulatory & Formula Management**
- Provide regular support to the regulatory team across various tasks.
- Provide customers with accurate, consistent and reliable regulatory and product information in a timely manner.
- Prepare and amending Symrise technical data sheets, customer questionnaires, AFGC PIF’s and SDS’s.
- Suitability checks and general enquiries for internal and external customers such as permissibility, halal, kosher, classification and prepare various regulatory related statements and declarations.
- Ensure compliance of products with relevant Food Standards legislation, Codes of Practice, Company and Certification procedures.
- Ensure all records, including technical specifications are accurately filed and maintained.
- Provide monthly statistics for preparation of reports.
- Management of regulatory and FRMM requirements for new product alerts (NPA’s) and product deletions.
- Support other regulatory and formula management activities as required.

- Building strong proficiency in SAP and business processes.
- To support quality control in daily sensory and evaluation of flavours and raw materials as required.
- To highlight problematic situations and work together with the technical team.
- To accept temporary placements in other locations for project or training needs.
- Assist in work coverage when required or if other team members are on leave.
- Bachelor degree qualification in Food Technology or equivalent.
