**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Lending Support Manager, you will lead a team of 6 Collection consultants, providing guidance on matters relating to the protection of RACVF’s assets and reputation.

Key responsibilities for the role:

- To ensure the protection of RACVF’s assets by ensuring the timely, efficient, and accurate management of member/debtor behavior.
- Motivate and develop a high performing team that are focused on balancing the needs of the business with member experience and outcomes
- Develop and implement ongoing strategies for Collections & arrears minimisation that meet business requirements.
- Conduct regular audits on conduct of RACVF Collection strategies
- Provide constructive input to the credit policies, procedures and portfolio maintenance of the Finance Company.
- IDR and EDR management
- Internal and External stakeholder management

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Sound understanding of the consumer lending environment and finance industry in general.
- A solid knowledge of National Credit Code and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act (NCCPA)
- Proven experience in Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) & External Dispute Resolution (EDR)
- Practical knowledge of the relevant legislation such as Debt Collection Guidelines, Bankruptcy Legislation & Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) would be preferred but not essential.
