**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and relationship management strategies and governance approaches that: are consistent with the Department’s Engagement Framework, integrate with the project’s Communications strategy, contribute to the effective achievement of the PTT project’s goals and objectives, and align to Government priorities.
- Create and embed the use of best practice tools, materials and processes that support the delivery of a program of stakeholder activity, including but not limited to stakeholder management plans, surveys, mapping, matrices, databases, issue and risk registers.
- Collaborate with, support and guide workstream colleagues to effectively plan, document and coordinate their stakeholder engagement activities, providing leadership to embed the use of tools, materials, and processes to achieve consistent outcomes supporting overall program goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships across the project team and the Department to build trust, develop an understanding of workstream work programs and priorities, and communicate and educate colleagues on the benefits of best practice stakeholder engagement approaches.
- Provide leadership in stakeholder relationship management, working with colleagues to develop and document a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs and priorities, clearly communicating PTT program priorities and managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting the Leadership Team to negotiate outcomes that best align program and stakeholder priorities.
- Develop stakeholder presentations and briefing materials to support colleagues, the Leadership Team and the Ministers Office in engaging stakeholders and communicating the program’s status and objectives, working in collaboration with other colleagues in the Governance workstream.
- Manage the delivery of events, workshops, and forums, working in collaboration with program colleagues to ensure stakeholders can effectively provide input that supports project outcomes.
- Provide professional expertise and advice to the Leadership Team on key Stakeholder Engagement matters, opportunities, options, issues, and risks, including the provision of regular project reports.
- Initiate and embed innovative practices consistent with the Department’s Engagement Framework, including innovative ways of working that advance the team’s effectiveness and productivity.

**Mandatory**
- At least 3 years of experience in stakeholder management and/or communications in a high value or high-profile project environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly MS PowerPoint and MS Word.

**Desirable**
- A tertiary education in stakeholder management, communications, publishing, project management, or another relevant field.
- Experience in stakeholder management and/or communications in a high value or high-profile public-sector transport, infrastructure, or IT project environment.
