The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Planner you will plan and schedule maintenance activities in a timely and cost-effective way to support factory performance objectives. Management of the CMMS, internal maintenance resources and external contractors to comply with site safety policies. Take a lead role in asset management strategy; including development of asset failure prevention plans, failure RCA, critical spare holdings.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan for electrical & mechanical trades, as well as production operators & external contractors.
- Schedule maintenance work.
- Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace.
- Monitor CMMS for maintenance requests, schedule works & labour accordingly.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reference documents in an auditable system.
- Ensure effective communication of maintenance issues with process owners and engineering staff on a regular basis.
- Assist the Engineering Manager in manage the maintenance shutdown process.
- Manage external contractors on site via contractor management system.
About You
- Strong experience in maintenance planning and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes within a FMGC or building products manufacturing environment.
- Trade qualified or have a Degree/Diploma (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Experience in Contract Management
- SAP System experience desirable
- Excellent written and verbal skills
