**Casual Role**

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant. As a Theatre Assistant, you will be working in the theatre department with responsibilities including:

- Working with and assisting clinical staff
- Setting up consumables and other specialty stock for theatre cases for the coming days theatre lists
- Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked

**Skills and Experience**

An interest in patient care is essential to succeed in this role. You will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures. You will be a motivated, positive individual and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- You will also bring:_
- Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 Level in relatable field or AIN Certificate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently.
- Excellent patient and customer service focus
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
- Prior experience in a similar role or CSSD (Desirable)

**Remuneration**

**On offer is a base hourly salary ranging from $32.14 - $36.76**+ casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Ramsay Surgical Centre Miranda is a dedicated day procedure centre located centrally in the Sutherland Shire. Located in Miranda, The Ramsay Surgical Centre boasts two operating theatres with state-of-the-art medical equipment and two specialised treatment rooms. Our Specialist Services include: Ophthalmology, Endoscopy/ Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy, Urology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dermatology. The hospital is owned by Ramsay Health Care, Australia's largest private health operator. Located ideally close to Kareena Private Hospital, also operated by Ramsay Health Care, the Ramsay Surgical Centre will provide enhanced medical services for the Sutherland Shire community and expand on an already comprehensive range of medical, surgical, maternity and rehabilitation services found at Kareena Private Hospital.

**Requirements**:

- _Must _provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
