Our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre in Minchinbury boasts a fast-paced operation, distributing to our valued customers throughout NSW. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join NSW Transport Team as a Transport Supervisor in a full-time capacity.

As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and assisting withthe accurate planning and allocation of loads to vehicles and responsible for communicating and working collaboratively with the DC teams and customers to achieve Business objectives.

**Key responsibilities
- Liaise with NSW Transport Teams, 3PL's and DC Operations teams of progress and status of loads, schedules and strategies.
- Updating the Transport Management team on a real-time basis of any operational / service concerns or non-compliance.
- Actively seek out and implement cost saving or efficiency improvement initiatives within the NSW transport operating model.
- Liaising with appropriate personnel to achieve adherence to curfews, cross-docking and top up loads.
- Overseeing the allocation of loads to meet store requirements and ensure on-time delivery to our customers.
- Managing and developing a small team of direct reports.

Together with demonstrated success in a similar role and your ability to influence, we are seeking the following skills and experience:

- Have an understanding and experience in transport / dispatch / warehousing or DC’s
- Have strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney Basin.
- Enjoys autonomy being a self starter
- Have intermediate computer skills - Google, Excel, Word and Transport systems
- Possess strong communication Skills
- Have a strong customer Service focus
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Be results oriented
- Be a team player who works hard but willing to have a laugh
