**Overview
Our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre (SRDC) in Minchinbury boasts a fast-paced operation, distributing to our valued customers throughout NSW. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Transport Team as a Transport Allocator in a full-time capacity.

**About the role
As a Transport Allocator, you will be responsible for the accurate planning and allocation of loads to vehicles and communication to the DC teams and customers. Key responsibilities will include:

- Liaise with Transport and Despatch teams of progress and status of loads, schedules and strategies
- Updating the Transport Supervisor on a real-time basis of any operational / service concerns or non-compliance
- Liaising with Shunt drivers ensuring they understand the strategies and requirements on a day to day basis
- Liaising with appropriate personnel to achieve adherence to curfews, cross-docking and top uploads
- Allocating loads to meet store requirements and ensure on-time delivery to our customers

- Have extensive experience in Transport / Despatch / Warehousing or DC’s
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney Basin
- Enjoy’s autonomy being a self-starter
- Have intermediate computer skills - Google, Excel, Word and Transport systems
- Possess strong communication Skills
- Have a strong Customer Service focus
- Proven problem-solving abilities
- Be results-oriented
- Be a team player who works hard but willing to have a laugh
