**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Mercy Health O’Connell Family Centre is a public early parenting centre located in Canterbury that focuses on the needs of vulnerable families and young children. The residential, day and community programs provide child-focused parenting skills to promote safe child development. Services include residential, day stay, educational and group programs for families with children aged 0-4 years.
- Permanent Part Time hours available
- O’Connell Family Centre is open from 07:30 on Monday mornings to 17:00 on Friday afternoon our shifts during the week are divided between Day, Evening and Night Duty
- Work with an experienced team of Nurses, Early Parenting Practitioners, Psychologist and Psychiatrist
- Promote excellence in clinical practice and family centred care
- Provide clinical services to families attending OFC
- Provide parenting education and support to families attending OFC programs
- Support the strategic direction of OFC

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Qualification as a Registered Enrolled Nurse (Mother craft Nurse), Registered Enrolled Nurse and /or a Diploma of Child Care Studies
- Desirable Qualification
- Graduate Certificate in Pre and Postnatal Family Support
- Knowledge and experience in working with complex families with young children (0-4 years) who present with a range of parenting issues
