Offering worldwide import/export freight forwarding and nationwide customs clearance and delivery services, they are well placed to provide the very best service to their customers.

An opportunity has arisen within their Tullamarine branch for an experienced Account Officer. Reporting to the Branch Manger, and working within a friendly and vibrant team, this position will see you handling all account Functions

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Perform full function of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage daily cash flow, conduct foreign currency purchase
- Process Foreign Currency Payments
- Perform weekly customer analysis in terms of credit limit and terms
- Process client refunds, staff expenses claims, manage corporate credit card and reconcile expenditure
- Month-end processes, reporting and analysing
- Manage prepayments and accruals
- Balance Sheets - _in consultation with external accountants at year end_
- Profit and Loss - _in consultation with external accountants at year end_
- End of year tax statements - _in consultation with external accountants at year end (incl journals)_
- BAS
- WIPS/Accruals

**Required Skills / Criteria**:
Applicants must have recent experience working in a relevant Accounts/Bookkeeping role within the international freight forwarding industry.

Experience with Cargowise operating system essential

**Please note**:
This can be a Full Time $75,000 or Part Time $65,000 (School hours) position

Hours of operation are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

**This position is only open to Australian residents.**
