**ABOUT OUR CLIENT AND THE ROLE**
Our client is highly successful within the travel and hospitality space. Due to extended growth, they now require an experienced Accounts Officer to join their friendly and dynamic team.
As Accounts Officer, you will support the finance function, primarily around Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This is a permanent, full time position which ideally requires an immediate start.
**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
Your responsibilities will include but are to limited to the following;
- Accurate and timely entry of data and account reconciliations;
- Deliver all bank reconciliations, debtor related account reconciliations and aged debtor analysis;
- Ensure that suppliers are paid in an accurate and timely manner to ensure the organisation can meet cash flow and the organisations objectives;
- Prepare of daily, weekly and monthly reports as required;
- Assist the Head of Finance to complete all statutory and compliance reporting accurately and on time;
- Statutory reporting and tax requirements;
- Assist with Strategic Planning and Pricing;
- Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting.
**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Possess a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Have high attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within and support a team environment;
- Be organised with the ability to work to team deadlines;
- Have strong computer skills;
- Be proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
