The department makes a significant investment in frontline services through outsourced service delivery. The department contracts for services from more than 1000 suppliers with an annual spend of approximately $1.5 billion to support individuals, families and communities. Investment is administered across the state through seven regions and supported by a central corporate office.
The Investment and Partnerships Administration Officer works closely with the Procurement and Contract Management team to provide high quality administrative support.

**The Administration Officer key responsibilities are**:

- Undertake financial, human resource and administrative duties as required
- Develop and maintain effective administrative systems, recordkeeping and business reporting including organisation of meetings, correspondence, minute taking, appointments, petty cash, taxi vouchers, accommodation and travel arrangements
- Administer financial processes including ordering, payments of accounts, petty cash, monthly monitoring and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices. Provide a high standard of skills in a range of software packages and databases in the administration of services provided by the region. Investigate financial enquiries ensuring timely, accurate solutions are reached. Contribute to effective team work by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver services to the region. Liaise with departmental officers and other Government and non-Government organisations as necessary. Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.

You develop positive relationships with team members and actively participate in teamwork and group activities. You take time to learn policies, regulations and standard operation procedures and understand why they exist, and you take responsibility for accurate completion of work and seek assistance when required. You structure written and oral communication, so it is easy to follow and use correct spelling and grammar.
