About the role
The role provides business and administrative support to a busy RTI and Privacy team, assisting in the achievement of their legislative responsibilities.
This role requires you to work with in the specialist RTI and Privacy teams and requires you to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. This role also requires integrity, discretion and tact in dealing with the sensitive and confidential nature of information.
Decision Making responsibilities
Administration responsibilities
- Generate weekly disclosure log report; collate and compile completed disclosure log decisions for publishing; review and monitor content of published disclosure log in line with the RTI Act and ministerial guidelines;
- Update and maintain procedure documentation;
- Records management, including file creation, maintenance and archiving;
- Provide administrative assistance for preparation and delivery of training to OIR by RTI and Privacy;
- Provide administrative assistance and support, including ordering stationery; meetings coordination; onboarding new starters; document collation and transfer of documents to applicants and stakeholders;
- Engages in business support projects as operational needs required;
- Participate as an active member of the team by contributing ideas and supporting other team members;
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients and contribute effectively to the achievement of the team's outcomes.
