About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide a high-level support to facilitate service delivery within all streams of the Information Access Unit and perform decision making as the delegated back-up decision maker under the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act).
About you
- Ensure Redcliffe Hospital's compliance with the provisions of State and Commonwealth legislation, Metro North Hospital and Health Service Policy and Judicial Review in relation to patient confidentiality and release of personal and non-personal information.
- Undertake the duties and responsibilities of Back-Up delegated Right to Information and Information Privacy Decision-maker for Metro North and Redcliffe Hospital facilities.
- Provide a high-level liaison contact point with senior officers of Redcliffe Hospital and other government agencies including but not limited to Queensland Health, the Coroner, the Health Ombudsman and the Department of Child Safety.
