KT OOSH Services is a privately owned and family run business who has been established in our Before & After School Care services for more than 18 years.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educational Leader to join our established team. We are excited to work with a dynamic leader who is passionate about teaching and learning.

This is a hybrid position with both on and off the floor hours. Your 38 hour per week role will be divided with 27 hours non-contact admin time and the balance 11 hours working on the floor with the children Monday to Friday afternoon sessions and Friday morning session.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the management team will guide and support our educators in striving to provide inclusive experiences for all of the children across two of our services in Rouse Hill that range from the ages of 3 - 12 years.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:As the Educational Leader you will:

- Be a role model for your team supporting them through decision making, new ideas, reflective practice and professional development to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for children.
- You are highly motivated, a self-starter with a passion for education young children.
- Work alongside the Nominated Supervisor in the running of the service to ensure effective, collaborative and positive working relations with and between the team.
- Mentor and guide Educators in providing comprehensive support in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies and procedures.
- Adhere, develop, plan and implement a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework & My Time Our Place for children aged 3 - 12 years
- Monitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfolios
- Develop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centre.
- Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supports colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a good team player.
- Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children's development
- Diploma in children's services
- Current Working with Children check, Policy Check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Be able to work autonomously in this role
- Strong knowledge of both the EYLF & MTOP Frameworks and the national Quality Standards.
- Strong use of initiative and drive
- Experience in a leadership and mentoring role with an ability to create positive relationships
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care for our children.
