**Role Summary**:
The Category Advisor role will support activities relating to category management, strategic sourcing, and contract management for the nominated spend categories, ensuring maximum value is generated for Synergy.

Based within our Supply Chain Team at our Perth CBD office.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Collaborate with category manager/s to draft, negotiate, implement and manage tier 3 contracts across allocated category/s.
- Participate in the development and release of tenders into the market.
- Participate in the evaluation of the commercial aspects of the bid process and provide recommendations to the business.
- Communicate and influence effectively across the business in relation to category strategies, supplier performance and contract life cycle activities.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Cert IV in logistics or Supply chain or equivalentis preferable.
- Relevant experience in either buying, purchasing or procurement.
- Demonstrated understanding of Strategic Procurement processes.
- Demonstrated understanding of Category Management processes.
- Developed commercial and contract negotiation skills.
