Our client is currently seeking a Category Manager to join the team. As the ICT Category Manager you will lead the efficient and effective delivery of Sourcing & Category Management processes that delivers value and manages key risks across the ICT category.

**About the role**

Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):

- Undertake category management activities of Technology category contracts and panels, including performance reviews and renewals
- Undertake high level strategic negotiations, providing expert advice and resolving complex risks in category contracts
- Monitor cost category benchmarking against business objectives and key performance indicators
- Provide team support and guidance to Category Advisors
- Enable informed decision making by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs and papers
- Conduct data analysis into support category initiatives and category management activities

**About you**

Skills and Experience:

- Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Law, Economics, Commerce or an equivalent discipline
- Strong procurement knowledge including Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Management
- Practical experience in managing key technology categories across contract life-cycle
- Experience negotiating and managing Technology Category contracts for a large project, company or business unit
- Project management skills including how to effectively schedule, prioritise and address risks & issues
- Relationship management skills, and ability to develop, maintain and manage relationships across all levels and with both internal and external stakeholders
