Our client is seeking a Category Advisor to join their Procurement and Supply Chain Management team, where you'll support sourcing and category management activities. This role requires travel some travel across regional areas in WA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate strategic procurement activities exceeding $1M.
- Provide advisory services for engagement activities.
- Manage the procurement pipeline for projects.
- Monitor spending insights and maximise contract value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for continuous improvement.
- Manage end-to-end supplier relationships.
- Support data accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in negotiations and risk resolution.
- Facilitate business-wide training on procurement processes.
- Advocate for Procure-to-Pay processes and systems.
- Manage procurement/tender workflows.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:

- Degree qualified in Commerce, Business, and/or Procurement-related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contract best practices.
- Understand of Contract Management Law and WA energy industry, well regarded
- Extensive professional experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
- Ability to understand and analyse complex relationships.
- Proven initiative and ability to work independently.
- Previous experience within Resources, Oil & Gas, or Utilities sectors well regarded.
