We are looking for a skilled and motivated Receptionist to join our team and help us provide exceptional dental care to our patients. Our clinic is a high-end cosmetic clinic that offers a wide range of dental services to help our patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the dentist during procedures, such as preparing materials and equipment, taking X-rays, and sterilising instruments
- Greeting patients and preparing them for dental examinations
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and care
- Taking and recording patient medical and dental histories
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring accurate documentation
- Providing support to the front office staff, including scheduling appointments and processing payments
- Keeping the dental office clean and organized
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhering to all safety and infection control procedures

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assisting program or previous dental assisting experience would be preferred, but happy to help with learning if you don't have any experience.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Ability to take and develop dental X-rays, again, preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with dental software and computer skills
- Current CPR certification and X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 15/09/2024
