**About Us**:
Our school has an outstanding program including visual and performing arts including dance, drama, film and media as well as music, music extension and music excellence programs. Our school has a modern performing arts centre and a music excellence centre is currently under construction. The successful applicant will be able to grow this faculty, provide opportunity for students to showcase their talents and build community partnerships in and beyond the Toowoomba arts community.

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to:

- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
