As a vital member of our Credit Risk Pay team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our merchant activities, optimising our ePOI processes, and providing analytical leadership to enhance our credit risk originations team. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact by driving improvements in customer outcomes, governance, and cost efficiency

Responsibilities.
- Manage and optimise the customer analytics framework when dealing with merchant related issues.
- Lead all customer analytics that are required as an output of a merchant issue including providing clear analytics that are well documented, providing recommendations and driving agreement across key stakeholders as to the outcome of the analytics and customer outcomes.
- Provide regular updates as to the status of different customer analytics by managing timelines and stakeholders’ expectations, which may include updates in key business forums.
- Take the credit risk lead for any merchant related issues as they arise, including and not limited to joining working groups at short notice to remediation situations in a quick manner.
- Responsible for the production, distribution and optimization of merchant control data reports including working with the wider Commercial business to drive outcomes and recommendations from findings from this report.
- Be the responsible credit risk member for all merchant related control meetings across the business for both AU and NZ, including but not limited to the Monthly merchant forum and Know your intermediary forum (KYI). Your involvement will include actively participating, providing analytical insights and completing actions as required to drive outcomes for LFS and its customers.
- Manage key system changes when it comes to merchant related credit risk controls.
- Manage key processes around maintaining key lists of merchants for control frameworks.
- Manage ePOI vendors to support both compliance and optimization of the ePOI processes.
- Lead analytical support across the ePOI process to enhance POI pull through rates, with a focus on digital outcomes.
- Working with the Head of Originations, provide analytical leadership to enable enhancement of their processes to optimise customer, governance, and work force outcome

About you:

- Educated to degree level in a numerate or relevant commercial discipline
- A successful track record in Consumer Credit Risk Management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with capabilities to articulate complex analytical information.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Effective people and project management skills
- Commercial business acumen.
- Collaborative, team player.
- Constantly seeks to challenge the way things are done.
- Ideally programming (SAS/SPSS/SQL) and data mining / manipulation experience
- Comfortable in making decisions & taking accountability.
- Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
- A strong commitment to adhering to regulatory compliance and ability to demonstrate the Latitude values and behaviors
