Executive Officer to Director General

The Office of the Director General, ACT Health Directorate is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to provide high level executive and administrative support to the Director General for three months with possible extension up to six months.

Key duties of the role include coordination and preparation of high-level briefing material for the Director-General’s attendance at key meetings, supporting the Director-General in meetings with external and internal stakeholders, undertaking projects at the request of the Director-General, and working closely with the Ministerial and Government Services team on Strategic Board and Cabinet meeting preparation.

The position takes a lead role in managing the directorate’s peak governance committee, Executive Board. The Executive Officer also works with internal and external stakeholders and key partners to support the effective management of other meetings and forums. This includes working closely with the Communications and Engagement team on material and content development and scheduling of all internal communications material and activities.
