As a Business Lending Manager, you will create value for our customers and staff by having genuine conversations and identifying opportunities to assist Small Business Customers.
**Role Location**: 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000
**Role Type**: Permanent, Full-time
What will your day look like?
**As a Business Lending Manager, you will**:
Achieve allocated sales objectives (disbursements and product sales) and convert sales opportunity target as assigned.
Originate lending (with a focus on Small Business loans) through assessing the financial needs of customers and providing options to address specific needs.
Provide timely and accurate response to customer enquiries via incoming calls, online enquiries, and branch referrals.
Complete follow-up tasks that require Outbound calls to customers or prospects.
Manage complaints within required timeframes, policy and procedures.
Achieve audit and compliance objectives with corporate policies and procedures, as well as complying with industry code of practice and legislative requirements.
Pre-qualify opportunities against risk appetite, credit policy and Acceptable Documents Required (ADR)
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Demonstrated experience in self-employed lending, small business and/or business banking.
- Background in roles requiring identification and acquisition of new customers.
- Experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base.
- Understanding of deposit and payment products.
- Previous use of a delegated credit authority or equivalent in business lending will be highly regarded
- Having a genuine customer focused approach with the ability to recognise and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth, customer acquisition, customer experience and sales productivity.
