AMR have an exciting new opportunity for a **Full-time Ambulance, Patient Transport Dispatcher** role to join our growing team. The purpose of the role is multi-faceted to receive calls, provide essential pre-arrival advice, dispatch AMR resources and manage patient transport movements for private and public hospitals, medical centres and aged care services.

- High level of proficiency in typing skills.
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills in the use of available technology and software programs
- Proven capability in upholding the expected standards of conduct and performance within a busy and often demanding work environment.
- Planning & organisational skills to effectively manage time while prioritising assigned workload.
- Ability to suspend judgement and personal biases in order to professionally and respectfully assist people, irrespective of their age, demographic, or socio-economic group.
- **Essential qualifications for Dispatcher**_
- Minimum Certificate IV HealthCare or equivalent and/or
- Bachelor of Paramedicine or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA (if relevant)
- Desirable (but not essential)_
- Certificate IV in Ambulance Communications (Dispatch)

- Current Working with Children Check
