**Step up with a Customs Supervisor role**

With a centralised customs department in Sydney our client is sourcing a Supervisor who has leadership skills and abilities as well as extensive tariff knowledge to complement their National Customs Team.

This is a hands-on role where you will be utilising your broad tariff knowledge to provide clients with sound and professional customs advice. You will take on a mentoring and leadership role within the team and provide support, guidance as required.

This is a great opportunity for a Customs Broker from an SME background who has dealt with all facets of brokerage and is looking to advance their career with a leadership role.

**In addition**:

- Ensure compliance with all Government Acts, regulations, and policies
- Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and always assigned external customers, ensuring timely response within their expectations including current and potential customer visits.
- Mentoring classifiers and compliers to achieve accurate and timely processing of custom entries, classifications and other border holds
- Liaise with ACBPS (Australian Customs & Border protection Service), DA (Department of Agriculture) and any other Government or Non-Government Agency as required
- Promoting and executing consultancy and other recoverable services (Tariff Advice, Concessions, Drawbacks, Refunds and Posts etc) with customer base to increase revenue.
- Building rapport with Customers and providing guidance and advice around Customs Law and compliance.
