**The Department**
SBS Technology can be thought of as the ‘engine room’ of SBS. Our primary role is to enable and support the production, distribution, and transmission of content across television, audio, and online platforms.
The Audio Operations team perform a key role in the delivery of all SBS Audio output, including live radio programming in over 60 languages, as well as music services such as SBS Chill, PopDesi and PopAsia across our National Radio Networks and online platforms.
**The Role**
This is a role overseeing the day to day running of the Audio Operations team in Melbourne. As the Audio Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing service delivery to internal clients and stakeholders
- Providing support and guidance to the Audio Operations team and working closely with management to provide reporting and feedback on resources and broadcast content delivery.
- Day to day management of audio production and broadcast facilities
- Troubleshooting and management of technical issues and faults relating to audio equipment and transmission

**About you**
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving a team to meet objectives in a vibrant and unique environment surrounded by great people. We would love to hear from people who:

- Are self-motivated and driven to succeed in an often-high-pressure environment.
- Possess strong technical experience in a broadcast environment and an ability to co-ordinate resources and motivate team members.
- Experienced in broadcast radio technology including playout and scheduling systems, Audio over IP networks and routing technologies.
- Have excellent communication skills, proven experience in supervising and managing an operational team and staff development
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and procedures in an “ON AIR” environment.
- Experience in audio editing, podcast production and streaming technologies would be highly regarded.
