**About the MAV**
The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV), is a membership organisation and the legislated peak body for Victorian local councils. Our role is to represent and advocate local government interest, provide policy and strategic advice and build the capacity of councils.

**About the role**
This position is responsible for ensuring timely and relevant communication via digital communication channels and social media platforms to enhance the reputation and outcomes of the MAV as well as the local government sector.
It contributes to the objectives of the MAV as the ‘voice of local government’ by creating compelling content in written, photographic, and video formats.
