Our WA Government client is seeking to engage an Infrastructure Compliance Officer on a Temporary basis.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Infrastructure Management
- Inspection of footpaths and kerbing relating to building licences over $20,000.
- Ensure compliance of the reinstatement and restoration of City infrastructure.
- To manage the crossover subsidy program.
- Liaise with Statutory Service providers and ensure compliance with the reinstatement and restoration of City infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to Local Government Act 1995, regulations and local laws.
- Set priorities and monitor workflow for verge development, verge obstructions and statutory service provider activities.
- Inspect crossover compliance and manage rebates in accordance with City crossover specification.
- Maintain safe and compliant work practices in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health legislation, Risk Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Procurement and Recordkeeping Frameworks and all other relevant Council policies and procedures.
- Identify and report on operational risk in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
- Demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safety and the assessment/management of safety risk that is consistent with the OSH Roles and Responsibilities Framework.

**Key Capabilities**
- A strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Ability to programme inspections, manage own time and ensure timely completion and documentation of inspection outcomes.
- Previous experience in conducting defect and condition inspections desirable.
- Previous experience in the administration of verge development and verge obstructions desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.
- Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
- Current 'C' class Drivers Licence.
- Basic Traffic Management (Desirable)
