Gray's Health and Fitness is a well-established business that has been operating for over 25 years in Australia and New Zealand.

We specialise in refurbishing high-quality, used commercial gym equipment, and have an extensive range of stock in huge warehouses amounting to over 36,000 square feet of floor space.

We supply used and reconditioned commercial gym equipment to gyms, health clubs, personal trainer studios and government institutions throughout Australia.

**The role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team based in Altona North.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Providing direction to our qualified mechanical and electronics technicians in the workshop.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures, and documented specifications.
- Take ownership of onsite engagement, including running prestart and toolbox meetings as required.
- Spend time on the tools and around the site as required to get the job done.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of our processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in an organised and logical manner to meet deadlines.

**To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following**:

- Experience in managing and directing staff
- Experience in assembly of parts on machines
- Able to work autonomously
- Implementing and sustaining a safe work environment
- Willing to help across the business as required
- Mechanically minded and self-motivated
- Current Forklift Licence would be advantageous
- Problem solving skills
- Current Drivers licence

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Altona North, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse management (preferred)
- workshop management (preferred)
- Mechanical assembly (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
