Our client represents an entirely Australian, family-owned business that is a prominent online retailer specializing in lighting products. Located in the South Eastern Suburbs, this company is a leader in its industry and has gained recognition for its continuous growth and achievements.

Your primary duty will involve collaborating with the Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of the warehouse and distribution processes. It is crucial that you become knowledgeable about every facet of their distribution facility.

**Main Duties**:

- Participate in managing warehouse and distribution procedures.
- Oversee the process of selecting and packaging inventory, ensuring the team accurately picks, packs, and dispatches orders daily, while adhering to timelines.
- Supervise the receipt of incoming goods to verify order accuracy, prevent damage, and ensure proper documentation and storage.
- Regularly conduct audits to assess stock quality.
- Contribute to enhancing and optimizing standard operating procedures to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Assist in resource planning and coordination.
- Manage tasks like daily stock replenishment, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining control over pending orders.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.

**To be eligible for this position**:

- Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, along with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in computer usage and software operation.
- Extensive familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to assist in supervising teams to achieve noteworthy performance outcomes.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a dedicated, positive attitude.
- Possession of a forklift license is mandatory.
