We currently have an exciting opportunity, reporting to the Head of Sales - Specialty Care, this dedicated Specialty Care Manager role will deliver a consistent approach to managing and driving our Specialty Care and Hospital facing activities in QLD for the CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolic) and Respiratory Inhaled portfolio.

**What you’ll do**:
Specifically leading a Key Account Management (KAM) approach with the interlinking relationship between departments in each hospital, this position is critical to AstraZeneca Australia to be well positioned to deliver success and maintain scientific leadership with our key products in our CVRM and Respiratory Inhaled portfolio and prepare for future launches.

As the Specialty Care Sales Manager you will be primarily responsible for the attainment of sales and initiation share targets within Key Accounts worked in QLD, through the effective leadership and management of the Specialty Care Team.

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- In-field and virtual sales and key account management coaching (approximately 50% of time)
- Business planning including KAM, KEE development, budget management, segmentation and targeting
- Championing of cross functional team work with Primary Care, Marketing and Medical colleagues to deliver account goals and KEE development and advocacy
- Support of GP FLSMs and their teams in QLD to deliver locally based Territory Action Plans
- National Sales Lead for a therapeutic area / key customer group within product portfolio

**Essential for the role**
- Demonstrated track record of successful pharmaceutical sales and people management
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Experience operating under Key Account Management principles
- Strong understanding of hospital/specialist environment
- Aligned therapeutic area knowledge with Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and/or Metabolic
- Demonstrated successes in building strong external and internal relationships through effective communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills
- Results orientation, strong business acumen and analytical skills to enable you to effectively contribute to the creation and implementation of sales/marketing strategies
- Completed Medicines Australia CEP
- Business and/or Science related tertiary qualifications are preferred
