**Position Information**:
Padstow Park Public School is a K-6 school located in South Western Sydney and has an enrolment of 348 students, 54.4% of whom are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The school strives to create an inviting and engaging learning environment focused on robust, quality teaching and learning programs and strong wellbeing structures enabling our students to succeed and thrive. There are 13 mainstream classes and a Support Unit consisting of 1 Autism class, 1 Moderate Intellectual/Autism class and 1 class for students with a mild intellectual disability.
The school also serves as a base school for the Itinerant Support Team Hearing, consisting of 7 staff members.
Our community, parents and carers actively participate within the school and strongly support our School Improvement Plan directions.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach infants and/or primary.
- Approval to teach Primary Library, or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education including a developing, working knowledge and/or experience in the use of the Oliver Library Management System and ICT.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching and learning experiences whilst promoting critical and creative thinking, digital literacy and autonomous learning.
- Demonstrated innovation in managing and implementing a stimulating library learning environment, encompassing pedagogies that meet the needs and talents of a diverse range of student learners.
- Highly developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community, and contribute positively to whole school culture.

This is a permanent part time position for 4 days per week 0.8FTE (Full-time equivalent)
