Opportunity to work for this innovative, technology driven organisation as the Build & Deployment Automation Lead where you will lead a team responsible for the build and development, and ongoing support of automation pipelines for the delivery of change into Production.

Your brand-new role will have you working with the Platform Manager on the delivery of an automation strategy, and development of a roadmap of work to support the delivery and deployment of the program of work

**Key accountabilities**
- Lead a team responsible for the build and development and ongoing support of automation pipelines for the delivery of change into Production
- Assist the Platform Manager in technical leadership in establishing and managing a roadmap for the ongoing uplift and maturity of automation processes for the platform
- Lead and manage the technical scope of build and deployment automation work and ensure that there are processes to manage scope exceptions and additions
- Overall accountability for the planning, testing and execution of Deployment to production
- Effective management of change into the production environment, taking account of implementation risks and the broader IT change calendar and change processes
- Identify and pro-actively manage risks, both operational and change related to improve the overall risk profile of the Platform
- Manage production systems availability to meet or exceed agreed SLAs
- Provide regular leadership, mentoring and coaching to all team members

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in the development and execution of deployment strategies, plans and execution of these plans for complex technology change projects, covering deployment planning; execution of deployment and cutover testing; execution of full-dress rehearsals and execution of deployment to production
- Ability to lead, build and sustain technical team members, relationships, resolve conflict, handle negotiation effectively and develop collaborative working relationships
- Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders, and effectively communicating and where necessary influencing stakeholders to meet program objectives
- Skills in Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an "Agile" environment
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral
- Expertise with Build Automation tools and Source Control Management tools
- Commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and attention to detail and delivery to timelines
