We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Store Manager** to join our management team in the **Horsley Park.**

**This will be a 6 month Fixed Term - Full Time - contract position starting in January 2025 -June 2025.**

As a **Store Manager**, you will be the face of our business, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations. This includes achieving budgeted sales, gross profit, and cost control targets, while executing marketing and merchandising plans. A key part of the role is managing rosters and leading, training, and coaching a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure key financial, audit, and sales targets are met and exceeded.
- Monitor weekly financial reports and KPIs to track store performance.
- Identify profitability issues and implement strategies for improvement.
- Manage supplier orders and ensure stock levels are maintained across grocery and store departments.
- Maintain ticketing standards and ensure stock levels are always adequate.
- Control stock management efficiency and minimize shrinkage/loss.
- Enforce all safety, security, and fire safety regulations within the store.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth store operations.
- Ensure all team members provide high-quality service across all departments.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the store.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to continuously improve performance and skills.
- Foster a culture of support, customer focus, compliance, and community.
- Conduct people safety and product safety audits.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- **2+ years** experience in a supermarket or retail environment.
- **2+ years** leadership experience, ideally in the food and/or retail sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and meeting budgets.
- Strategic and innovative mindset with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach, and motivate teams.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
