This is an opportunity to work for a global specialist software development company that provides products and services to a diverse range of clients both in government and commercial. The Australian headquarters here in Brisbane are going through significant growth in the team as they continue to secure contracts.

As the Finance Officer you will drive the efficient management of internal and external creditor accounts, administration of Corporate Credit card and Travel accounts, and ensure that creditor accounts are accurately processed on a timely basis and are paid within trading terms.

**Accounts Payable Duties**:

- Collate, check and post all authorised supplier invoices.
- Reconcile all creditor subsidiary ledgers to invoices and/or statements.
- Investigate and allocate all Accounts Payable open items on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and process all payments to suppliers in both local and foreign currencies.
- Prepare EFT payment runs and postings to ledger after payment.
- Submit creditors with a timely remittance advice.
- Preparation of month end expense accruals for recurring expenses.
- Timely clearance of balances in Suspense and unallocated payments
- Manage process of establishing new Preferred Suppliers and ensuring register is up to date.
- Perform regular reviews of significant preferred suppliers to ensure ongoing value to Company is maximised.

Other Duties:

- Procurement and purchase orders
- Management of Corporate Credit Card
- Reconciliation and Payment of Corporate Travel Accounts
- Employee Expense Reimbursements

**_Qualifications and experience, skills and attributes _**
- 2 years related experience and/or a relevant Diploma or Certificate.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate computerised accounting systems.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
