Having rolled out first class finance systems & processes, the company is currently scaling up operations and experiencing growth to many areas - this has meant the finance team are busy and are now requiring a permanent Finance Officer to join the team.

**The Role**
This newly created opportunity has become available for a motivated Finance Officer to join the finance team, and will be tasked with oversight over accounts payable processes, involvement in more complex tasks including treasury/FX, reconciliations, & journals. This role will be a key business partner across their operations, ensuring transactional accounting excellence and adding value in a broad accounting team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee receipt of goods and services and ensure compliance with before processing payments
- Review invoices and prioritize payments based on value & urgency
- 3 way matching process and suggesting improvements for policies, procedures, and systems
- Partner with stakeholders across their operations (including regional), ensuring queries are answered and investigations are handled efficiently
- Ensure timely response to supplier queries and accurate recording of foreign currency payments
- Assist with complex reconciliations, journals, payments, and analysis as required
