As a Communication Officer you will provide project support to the Data linkage Executive Director and Chief Analyst. You will develop and provide communication materials on all aspects of the Data linkage project to participating stakeholders and central agencies, including the preparation of supporting evaluation reports and submissions.
You will provide high level research and evaluation, and effectively communicate team deliverables using visual tools such as infographics and diagrams to achieve the Department's strategic objectives in relation to delivering the linkage of multiagency data to provide Government with comprehensive, system-wide information on how young people interact with multiple justice and human services agencies over time.
Key responsibilities

**As Communications Officer you will specifically**:

- Identify, research, and analyse emerging issues. Provide advice on a range of research and evaluation to support the development of the Data Linkage project. Liaise and consult with other teams in the department to ensure research supports the sound development and implementation of whole-of-department and whole-of-government strategies. Prepare correspondence and provide advice to the Executive Director, Senior Executive Director and Deputy Director-General, and manage matters in relation to the development and delivery of evaluation and the Data Linkage project
- Represent the Data linkage team through participation in internal discussions and with key external stakeholders. Manage communication strategies to support the directorates objectives including the development of visual tools, branding and website maintenance.
