**About the Role**:
We are seeking experienced **female Support Workers** to join a specialised team supporting a woman with **schizoaffective disorder - bipolar type with rapid cycling**. This is a high-complexity role requiring mature, confident workers with a strong understanding of mental health and trauma-informed practice.

The role involves one-on-one support in the client's home, assisting with day-to-day living, emotional regulation, and risk mitigation, while respecting the client’s autonomy and preferences.

**Client Overview**:
The client experiences significant mood fluctuations that can impact daily functioning, decision-making, and interpersonal relationships. These fluctuations may affect her motivation, energy levels, judgment, and personal boundaries. At times, she may be more socially outgoing and impulsive, while during low periods, she may withdraw or struggle with self-care.
There is a history of risk-taking behaviour and vulnerability, and support workers should be confident in maintaining boundaries and managing complex behavioural presentations in a respectful and person-centred manner.

**Interests**:

- Enjoys personal grooming, shopping, music, and TV
- Has expressed interest in speaking French
(French-speaking workers would be highly regarded)

The client is a smoker but does not smoke inside the house. She dislikes being told what to do in her home or having her freedom restricted. Her condition has been described as treatment-resistant.
**Who We’re Looking For**
- **Gender**: Female only (clinical request)
- **Background**: Strong mental health experience essential; experience with high-risk and trauma-informed support preferred
- Professional, calm, and confident in crisis situations
- Able to maintain clear boundaries and work independently
- French language skills are a bonus but not required

**Pay Rates (SCHADS Award - Schedule E, SIL - PPT, Before Tax)**
- **Day Shift (Monday to Friday)**: $34.19 per hour
- **Afternoon Shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday)**: $38.46 per hour
- **Active Night Shift (starts before 6am or finishes after midnight, Monday to Friday)**: $39.32 per hour
- **Saturday**: $51.29 per hour
- **Sunday**: $68.38 per hour
- **Public Holiday**: $85.40 per hour

**Entitlements include**:

**Roster - Line 1 (55 hours per fortnight)** **Week 1**
- Monday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm (5 hrs)
- Tuesday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm (5 hrs)
- Wednesday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm (5 hrs)
- Friday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm (5 hrs)
- Saturday: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (7 hrs)
- Sunday: 12:00pm - 3:00pm (3 hrs)

**Week 2**
- Monday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm (5 hrs)
- Tuesday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm (5 hrs)
- Wednesday: 10:00pm - 7:00am (Active Night, 9 hrs)
- Friday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm (5 hrs)
