**The Role**
As a member of the Assurance Team within the JTA, assist and advise the Assistant Director (EL 1). Assurance on all matters relating to the JTA Assurance Plan.
Duties include:
- Perform research and gather evidence on activities detailed in the JTA Assurance Plan;
- Report findings and well-reasoned conclusions to assist in the development of assurance activity reports;
- Make recommendations and follow up on endorsed corrective actions detailed in assurance activity reports;
- Identify additional assurance activities and communicate these in a timely manner to the Chain of Command;
**About our Team**
The Assurance Team’s aim is to provide confidence that the delivery of Transition Services is continuously improving in order to prepare and support transitioning ADF members and their families.
The reporting outputs (Assurance Activity Reports) identify any non-compliance of process while focusing on continuous improvement recommendations relating to identified strengths, gaps and opportunities within the transition ecosystem.
They will be flexible, adaptable and able to liaise with wide range of uniformed, non-uniformed, contracted and inter-departmental stakeholders.
- Defence culture, the career nuances and lifecycles of serving personnel, and, career management processes which precede, influence and impact transitions;
- An understanding of Joint Health Command functions, the Defence medical system, and it’s impacts and implications on transitioning members.
