- Bruno CostaWe are excited to collaborate with Sugar Research Australia, a global leader in sugarcane industry research and development, as they search for a Head of Communications to join their senior leadership team.

As a pivotal member of the organisation, you will lead communications efforts, fostering connections with key stakeholders such as sugarcane growers, millers, and industry representative organisations. Your strategic coordination will span various communication channels, including regional events and online platforms, to amplify SRA's diverse outputs.

Responsibilities will encompass guiding the formulation and execution of comprehensive communication, engagement, and media strategies. You will nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing promotion, online communications, publication management, event coordination, and internal communications.

You will advise the CEO and Board on the best ways to engage with and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Collaboration will be essential for success, requiring tailored communication and engagement plans for specific districts, programmes, and projects, alongside overarching communication for the entire organisation.

Your proactive approach to identifying areas of opportunity, coupled with your conceptual, analytical, and evaluation skills, will drive innovation within the communications team.
